A reading of Shaykh Gibril Fouad Haddad’s compilation and narration of the 40+ Prophetic Hadiths published in his 500-page bilingual Arabic-English 2022 compendium entitled: “The Musnad [transmission record] of Ahl al-Bayt [The People of the House]: Forty Full-Chained Hadiths on the Family of the Prophet — Allah bless him and his Family and Companions and grant him peace — from Forty of His Descendants out of Forty Books.” The book features a total of 43 Hadiths transmitted out of 43 books of Prophetic Sunna through 49 Shaykhs from Ahl al-Bayt, as well as some prominent non-Ahl al-Bayt masters. The author counts all of them among his teachers and received authorizations from all of them for these books. Shaykh Gibril Fouad Haddad here reads his Arabic Preamble (with English subtitles) and the first Hadith. The rest of the 43 Hadiths are read back to him by Dr. Shoayb Ahmed, Senior Lecturer in the Department of Religious Studies and Arabic at the University of South Africa in Pretoria. This full reading took place in a single sitting on February 8, 2026, without the long transmission chains, the commentary and the epilogue, for the sake of completion.
